San Diego Comic Con may have been over for a couple of weeks but the content is still rolling. Plus I have a mountain of interviews to edit!
One of the  craziest, surrealist moments was interviewing the Black Eyed Peas. Yes, THE Black Eyed Peas.

Will.iam, Taboo, and Apl.de.ap were at SDCC to spread the word of their upcoming graphic novel, MASTERS OF THE SUN: THE ZOMBIE CHRONICLES

The synopsis:

"The fictionalized saga begins with the City of Los Angeles under attack by aliens, while humans are morphing into zombies. The main character, Zulu-X, who also has a penchant for Hip-Hop, is thrust into the middle of the action-packed adventure, fighting a nefarious ancient order with the combination of wisdom and street smarts. Blending music with comics, “Masters of the Sun” draws upon Will.i.am’s personal story from his youth in the 1980’s, and embodies real-life social allegories that include L.A. gangs, Hip-Hop and street dance culture."

This sounds like all kinds of amazing. Anything set in LA excites me. Add in aliens and zombies? You have my attention.

The group teamed up with Marvel and from the sample pages seen above, this looks GORGEOUS. The graphic novel will out on August 2017.
