Descendants (2015) introduced us to the sugary/bitter take on the the next generation of Disney characters. Belle and Adam (Beast) are the rulers of the Kingdom and they have a lovely son, Ben. The family makes sure that their subjects are safe from the villains who were imprisoned on an island under a magical barrier. Due to Prince Ben's wish, four teenagers from Isle of the Lost are granted admission to the come to the high school to bridge the gap between both worlds. Although with the son of Jafar, son of Cruella, daughter of the Evil Queen, and the daughter of Maleficent, trouble is never too far behind.
With Descendants 2, Mal (daughter of Maleficent) is having problems adjusting to her new life. In a moments decision, she flees back to the Isle of the Lost and finds that there is a new power. And it involves Uma, daughter of Ursula.
Descendants 2 will be coming out on FRIDAY, JULY 21 (8:00 pm ET/PT)! The movie will premiere across ABC, Disney Channel, Disney XD, Freeform, Lifetime, Lifetime Movies plus branded apps.
